Here in the Philippines we have 4 types of Mutual Funds 

1. 1. STOCKS OR EQUITY FUNDS-all or large sum of money invested in stocks of Philippine Companies listed in PSE.
2. 2. BOND FUNDS-its is Invested in treasury notes issue by the government and commercial bonds by large corporation who issue company bonds.
3. 3. MONEY MARKET FUNDS-its like bond funds but shorter terms like 91day T-Bills.
4. 4. BALANCED FUNDS-its is invested in both stocks and bonds
